My NYX Collection ♡

Hey Guys,

So, today, I have a collection post, I don't think I've ever done one of these, purely because my one brand collections are quite tiny, but when taking a few Instagram Pictures, I realised, oh, I've got quite a few NYX Lippies, lets just write a post on them. Which is why you're reading this post lol. Now, I'll be the first to admit, I don't have a lot from NYX, its a brand I love, but I've only ever purchased lip products, I need to delve into the life outside of lipsticks lol. But here I am, sharing what I've got so far ...

Lets start off with the range I have most of, consisting of two bottles lol!

NYX Liquid Suede (£7.00)

I picked up the shade Soft Spoken and then a few weeks later, the shade Vintage. How would I describe the formula? Hmm, lets go with smooth, and yeah, as cliche as it sounds, suede - like. Glide's on like a dream and lasts a good 5-6 hours. The pigment is medium-ish, you do need a few swipes to get the richness out of the shade and the darker shade, Vintage, applies patchy :(

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (£6.00)

Aaah, where the NYX love affair started. I was on the hunt for this range before NYX had even landed in the UK and I remember being so disappointed when the range hit.
It's because the shade range was not to my taste, the shades didn't match my skin tone and I wanted to pick up way more than I did. I left with the shade Cannes and I wore it a lot but I've kind of forgotten about it until this post lol. It's a Matte finish, not uncomfortable and stays put for, lets say 4 hours.

NYX Intense Butter Gloss (£6.00)

I was on the fence about this but, I fell so in love with the shade Chocolate Crepe, I couldn't really resist. I was on the fence because I rarely buy Glosses, it's the texture I don't get along with. In the past, I would always buy them and they'd be so sticky, icky and would get everywhere, like I mean in my hair, over my chin, urgh, it was a major no no!! However, I can confirm there's none of that with this NYX one, it feels really nice on the lips actually. I mean, you can't wear it on a windy day because your hair will just stick to it lol. It has a strong pigment but it doesn't last as long as a matte lip because it's a gloss.

NYX Lipsticks:

NYX Full Throttle Lipstick (£6.00) in Kiss the Dust and NYX High Voltage Lipstick (£5.50) in Stone

Lets start off with the High Voltage Lipstick, it's the least worn thing in my collection, I like the formula, but not the shade. I mean, its a pretty shade but not my kinda shade and the pigment is quite weak. You need to apply and apply to get the shade to be seen.

And we'll finish with my favourite and most worn product, the Full Throttle Lippie, its such a beautiful shade, perfect for everyday, has a matte finish that's comfortable and so easy to apply. I have yet to delve into more shades but when I do, I think I may go a little OTT!

That's it for today, have you tried anything from NYX, if so, what's your go to?
